The MBBS admission process in Egypt is straightforward when you know the order of steps. Here is the full journey for the September 2026 intake, the way UniMeridian runs it end-to-end.

Step 1 — Eligibility check
We start by confirming you are eligible:
- A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
- A valid passport, or one already applied for.
- NEET only if you plan to return to India to practise later — it is not needed for admission in Egypt.
This eligibility and document review is free.
Step 2 — Application & documents
Once you are eligible, we prepare and submit your application directly to the university with your documents. Admission itself is decided by the university based on your 12th marks and document verification — UniMeridian does not guarantee admission, and any counsellor who promises a guaranteed seat should be treated with caution.
Step 3 — Provisional admission letter
After the university completes its document check, it issues a provisional admission letter. This is the official confirmation of your place and the document you build the visa process around.
Step 4 — Visa & MEA attestation
This is the paperwork-heavy stage, and we handle it for you:
- Apostille / attestation of your documents,
- MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) attestation,
- embassy interview preparation.
Step 5 — First-semester tuition
Before you travel, you settle the first-semester tuition, paid directly to the university. (See the fees and cost guide for the numbers — about $3,000 per semester, with the hostel fee waived.)
Step 6 — Travel & arrival
For the September intake you fly to Egypt, and UniMeridian arranges airport pickup and initial accommodation on arrival. A local coordinator supports you with settling in — and stays available through the full course.
What you’ll need from day one
- Class 12 marksheet
